Julian W. Vincze is Emeritus Professor of the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College (25 years) and held Visiting Professorships in Croatia 2006, Russia 2005, Canada 2004 & 2003 (term appointment as Director of Graduate Studies and Professor of Strategic Management at the University of New Brunswick, Saint John), Croatia 2002, Australia 1997 and the Netherlands 1992. He coauthored 9 textbooks in strategic management and marketing management, used by thousands of students in the United States and internationally. The latest is “Strategic Marketing Management”; 2nd. Ed.; By Anderson & Vincze, Houghton Mifflin, 863 pgs., 2004. Dr.Vincze’s other publication credits include chapters contributed to textbooks, numerous published business cases, several articles and software reviews.
Dr. Vincze has industrial experience in the United States, Canada, and the European Community, for example as Vice President Academic Programs, Euratio Academy, Zurich, Sophia Antipolis, and New York. (Specialized in cross-cultural mergers/acquisitions/reorganizations) Sept.-Dec. 2002. . His undergraduate degree is the University of Montana, his M.B.A. the University of Western Ontario, Canada, and Ph.D. the University of Bradford (Management Center) at Bradford, United Kingdom.
Professor Vincze joined the faculty of Rollins College in 1977 providing leadership in internationalizing the curriculum at the Crummer School and in 1992 received the Charles A. Welsh Award for outstanding faculty performance. He received summer research awards in 1986, 1992, 1993, 1996 & 1997. In 1993 Professor Vincze was awarded a Texas A&M/University of Hawaii CIBER (Center for International Business Studies) fellowship for FDIB (Faculty Development in International Business) Asia Program. He has been active in several professional associations and held various leadership positions such as National Program Chairman and member of the Board of Governors for the Academy of Marketing Science (AMS), and Vice President of the Case Clearing Center for the North American Case Research Association (NACRA).
Dr. Vincze has extensive international work and travel experience in 39 countries and completed consulting projects with a wide variety of businesses. He specializes in domestic and global competitive and marketing strategy and strategic planning.
